Let the FUN Begin

I've been holding back for months now, but the inner-teacher in me is just dying to strap my toddler down to a chair and teach her how to read, write, add, subtract, etc. I realize it's not appropriate to do these things with a 2 year old (can you tell I miss my job!?), but yet I think she's finally ready for some routine & learning exploration.

In conclusion, I've decided to begin some homeschooling preschool. We're going to go at our own pace, make sure we're always having FUN, and yet start building the all-important foundation needed to eventually learn to read (and write, add, subtract, etc!)

This blog is an attempt to organize our adventure in homeschooling preschool. I will be using a variety of different websites along the way, but will be using this blog to compile them all into one easy-to-use site. I hope to someday be able to refer back to this blog when it's time to repeat this process with my younger one.
